With all the recent legal battles over preserving the old Columbus Penitentiary, many Columbus area residents have been thinking about Columbus history--or, perhaps I should say, the lack of Columbus history. The Pen, Christopher Inn, The Neil House, Union Station, and more have been lost, and I fear more may be lost to make room for more parking lots and office towers (or as Johnny Fever on the old WKRP in Cincinnati show called them, vertical ice cube trays).
So I thought now would be a good time to have a history trivia review. So I hope we can have some fun with this and remember Columbus history over the next several weeks.
